Reading Problems

I have a v5 30001r ntsc ps2 with mars modchip the problem is that some of the dvdr games dont work or take ages to load. while my freind with the same modchip got them working can anyone help what is the problem

Your laser lens could need a good clean and/or you may have to tweak the DVD laser gain a tad.
