Quick help needed: solder POINT "T" (a pad) came off –

Hi,
I have a strange problem, that happened today.
Installed a Magic 3 in a V5 motherboard, everything was ok, but I added the NTSC->PAL fix, and there was no picture + sound just a black screen. Removed the NTSC-PAL fix link and still no video.Removed the Magic, and everything is ok.Re-installed the Magic again, worked fine. Then I fixed everything when realised that the wire from point T came off.(and the pad aswell) I tried to solder the wire directly to the bios leg, but I had no luck, since that there has been only a black screen when the Ps2 is powered on. Removed the Magic once again, but that did not help, just black screen. I can see that the game starts as the disk is spinning fine, and when I insert a backup the disk stops - that should be the RSOD but I can't see it, as there's still just a black screen - (of course no sound aswell) I don't know what happened, but I checked the bios+DVD controller, there's no any bridge.
What can it be, and what should I check? I hope I didn't kill the m/b when soldering directly to the bios leg...
Btw, all fuses are checked and seem ok, please give me any idea, this has been the longest install as this troubleshooting took already a half day...
thanks in advance, regards Stephen

Thanks I found the problem... I did not remove the tape which I used to secure the chip and it had a small solder ball on its bottom side that caused a short circuit near to the ground point... removing the tape solved the problem. Reinstalled the Magic and everything is fine now. Thank you for your help...
regards, Stephen
