question about the v3.3 connection
question about the v3.3 connection –

Hi, one other thing, i was looking at the pdf, is v3.3 the round via, or the resistor that i solder to? Cause on the install diagram for the magic chip look like the via, and that's the way it's soldered in my ps2, if it's the resistor, then that's probably my problem why my ps2 won't load burnt PS2 games.

It won't be the via in any of my diagrams. As you haven't specified which pdf I can't look it up for you but now you know it's not the via.

that may or may not be your problem as if you look at the magic2 diagrams directly from china-magic.com that is how it is.. soldered to the via.. in charlie's great tutorial, he has it to the resistor because soldering to that is better than soldering to a via because it is easy to make your ps2 go dead if yer not careful...
as charlie put it last time to me.. "no one should have to solder to any via's"
