Question about installing app in memcard

Hi everyone, newbie here just installed a MI on Pal PS2 v5 and wants to know how to install hdl.elf file in memory card. Do I need a cue maker to burn hdl.elf on cdr? Or do I need to modify the im13600.bin(infinity manager update image) file to put hdl.elf file in bin image?

My favorite way of doing this is to use execftps and flashFXP over a local network. Then you only need to burn one CD-R and you can make whatever changes you want with new patches and new splash screens and what not with out haveing to burn a new CD-R every time you want to change something. You just simply upload it to mc0:BOOT/BOOT.ELF over FTP and hold R1 from standby and it boots up no problem every time!

What if you're using CC's boot manager?

Thanks for the replies.. but do I need to install the network driver disc(that comes packin with the network adapter) to use execftp? I have a PAL ps2 installed with a US network adapter + 3rd party hard disk.
