No prob mate. If you can, go for Ritek, it's very reliable and works fine in consoles. I suggest you to order them online if you can, that is much cheaper then.Originally Posted by orel

k tnx for the help m8,btw,its matter the model of the media?Originally Posted by uns97
i mean, they are lots of ritek models.
For the best result I suggest to get the g04 dye (4x speed). g03 was great aswell, but the g05 may cause some troubles with several burners (LG, Sony for example) Avoid from Ritek DVD+R media, as it is much worse than the Ritek "minus" version.

i think its the go5 but i have nec 3520a its ok?Originally Posted by uns97
G05 is written fine with that NEC drive. Soon NEC implements a firmware that will be able to check the disks for PI/PO errors, I'll report when it's done then you can scan your disks and see the results.

tnx m8,and more little questionOriginally Posted by uns97
maybe u know if Dvd-r Silverline are good?
dude if you have NEC 3520a , he is very fine .
about Fortis media this is just a TM.Logo , media can be made by any factory ( I know 5 versions of Fortis ). some good ones and some very bad.
you can see this in the Nero ( Nero CD-DVD Speed tool ) it will show you the factory name.
about SilverLine Media , this is also a TM.Logo they not make any disk's they buy it .
for example SilverLine DVD-R x4 is RITEK G04 Very Very good media.![]()
and SilverLine DVD-R x8 is some Crap "InfoMedia"![]()
if you want realy good stuff buy RITEK ( Best ) or Taiyo Yuden also good they made Media for Verbatim.
Verbatim use MCC mostly, and TY as LordX said. I perefer MCC but as LordX said unfortunatelly a BRAND name does not tell that much without the MID (media) code. Unfortunatelly the worst thing is that many media makers make fake ID's, just to sell their disks as quality media. You have to avoid from these, and Fortis for example sold their disks with TY media code which was fake.
