That media is a very unreliable and low quality. I would suggest to avoid from those, especially in a chipped PS2, as your warranty is gone and the laser repair costs a lot. Burning anything at 1x does not help, many media are calibrated to 4x-8x burning, and writting them at a lower speed will result in a worse quality...

    regards, Stephen

Ok, nice to teaching me something... I'll sure will have that in mind.

    regards, Stephen

pS: you better go to some DVD forum to see other reactions on Fortis. And next time teach your friend, I know my bussines MUCH better (being in the optical data storage for MORE than 10 years...)

    some examples...

    http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....ghlight=Fortis

Of course those PI/PO scans will tell you NOTHING, but for those who know a little bit about OS will understand why this media is a LOW quality (may I write VERY low quality).

Listen to Uns97 hes know what hes speaking about.

U agree to that the fortis (that u use) are in lesser quality then the RITEC, let me remind u that the ritek. so whay use it? cose it's better then the most shitty media on earth???????

pay alittle more on a better media and don't risk u'r lens for nothing.

just my opinion since i'm using ONLY VERBATIMG and TDK .

Guys, this is no question that there is no another so low quality media as Princo on the Earth. So if you go for Ritek it's PREFECT (using a quality burner) Fortis is BETTER than Princo (or at least most of the Princo versions) but Fortis is worse than Ritek. A 4x Ritek costs here about 0.4 usd. Is that too much ? A Verbatim 4x with TY dye costs about 0.6 usd. Fuji costs the same. Both are much better than Fortis.

    regards, Stephen
