Question about a couple modchips.

Well i'm going to be purchasing a modchip in the next few weeks, and had orignally planned on trying to find a modbo 4, however i'm not sure now. You see, I'm also purchasing a PSX console(haven't decided on gray or white yet) and I was trying to find a modchip for it when I came across www.eurasia.nu and found that they have some psx modchips for cheap, so I began to look at the PS2 chips they have and they didn't have the modbo 4, but they do have the Duo3 Ultra. So...

I'm wondering if there's a major difference between the Modbo 4.0 and the Duo3 Ultra modchips?

If I can just get the Duo3 Ultra there, then it'll save me some time trying to find a reliable site in which to buy the Modbo 4. The PS2 is a v10 by the way.

a fmcb installer by the username 'TehJawknee' has a duo3 ultra chip i believe. perhaps he could of help to you to give you better details about this chip.

I have modded about 100 Ps2 with Duo3Ultra and it´s a stable chip in all consolles.The only problem is in the newest SCPH90000 series the Auto-
boot of DVD movies don´t work unless you disable the chip.But in your v10
it´s going to work like a charm.DON´T FORGET TO DO THE ROMEO MOD!!!!
OTHERWISE YOUR LASER WILL GO BOOM!!!!

damn it, i still need to resolder a new LA chip to my dead v9. anyway, i've been wanting to get a chip for one of my consoles. i could get a duo3 if its cheap but someone may need to verify if FMCB works with it
