    Hi,

    i'v installed a DUO 2 SE in a V7 console.
The problem is that no PSX backups seem to work.
What could be the problem ?
Allso why doesn't it use the W point ?

    Greets,

    Suggest 2 things to check:

    Check your boot method:

    1) Insert Game
    2) Go to standby by holding reset till only red light is on
    3) let go
    4) Hold reset again until blue light comes on - let go
    5) allow to boot.

Same method is used for DVD movies.

If this does not work check that you have the S point (SCEX) connected correctly and have not over heated and damaged the 104 (100K) resistor.
