PSTwo Won't boot –
After installing a chip in my pstwo, something went wrong. I assume I spent too much time working around the ps14 location (202 resistor on my board). It would turn on, but to a black screen and promptly turn off, and then i could turn it on again, and it would stay on, but black screen.
When i say it turns on, i only mean the light is green on the ps2.
Anyways, i took the chip completely out, cleaned up every point and it still has the same problem.
Any advice would be great, I can check values on any component, i'm just not sure where to start. The 202 reads ~22k ohms.
check bios points for bridge or you damaged one of the pads or dvd controller via points. If the ps14 thermal fuse blew it would instantly go green-red
the 202 is not a resistor, is a thermal fuse. It is called 202 simply becouse is coming from a different supplier.
Do like letsmod suggested.
i cleaned it up as well as i could, i'll take a picture later if you would like.

The ps2 does instantly go green-red on the first boot. then it stays green on the second boot.
But it wouldn't read a resistance if it were blown now would it?
