PSTwo 75001 + Matrix Infinity 1.82 and multi disc

I have a PSTwo (model #75001) modded with a Matrix Infinity 1.82 chip. Although in the offical document of this mod chip, it says MI supports the multi-disc function, however, I couldn't make this function working in any situation (e.g. the "load original" function of Dynasty Warriors 5 Extreme Legends, Action Replay + any game). I followed all the official guidelines for enabling the multi-disc function (e.g. setting the booktype to DVD-ROM), but the multi-disc function still doesn't work on my machine :-(.

Some rumor said the multi-disc function in MI is not compatible with PSTwo 75001 series, is that true ?

Did you also enable the function from MI's own settings? If I remember correctly, the MI only supports ps1's multi-disc games, not ps2's. I haven't tried it myself so I can't confirm it though.

Yes, there is an option called "PS1 Multi Disc" in MI's configuration menu, but the multi-disc function won't work no matter I enable or disable that function.
