PS2 worked and now its dead HELP!!!

Ok, ive installed a Magic 3.6. Everything worked like a champ for a few weeks.

But no my PS2 is dead will not turn on at all no smoke no nothing just no lights and it did work for a while then i went to turn it on one morning and the lights would come on and the cd door would not open .
i pushed the button and the light went off .
Ive took off the clip then that is on the bios chip and put it back on well i did that and the same thing i checked all the connections and everything was fine then i turn it back on after putting it all back together again and did not have no lights no nothing so i give up now.

Please help. What can be the problem??

check the fuses with a multimeter.. look in faq's and guides forum for fuse layout
