ps2 wont boot some backups

does not boot cran turismo concept it gets into the loading screen and thats it same for gt prologo got into the mainmenu this time

Is this modchips fault or ps2 drive sucks

tried other games or other (better) media such as fujifilm, verbatim, tdk? if it loads other games fine and its not a magic 3.1 then its not the modchips fault.

also sometimes the hd loader that i got of ******* has problems booting


Basicly do all ps2's have sometimes problems booting backups, etc

try the better media cause bad media could be the problem

There is NO worse media on the market right now than Princo (well, maybe Pine, but you get my point). Why are you being so cheap? Spend the extra 50 cents and get the good stuff (ridatas, fujifilm, sony, verbatim, imation, etc).

And PS2's do not have problems booting backups... just crappy media.

Some ps2s dont like Sony. The 2x TDK dvd-r burned at 1x is good too.

*LOL* That's ironic... some PS2's don't like Sony. I love it.

Just my experience, but I've yet to come across a console that didn't read Sony discs with issues.

princo works fine with my xbox

Yea i have a v2 here that hates sony media though I burned it at 4x... Burn good media at 2x, Xbox lasers tend to be better than ps2 lasers as they are not manufactured by sony :D.
