    Hi All:

I installed a Matrix MXL2 in my v9. Well, its work great (I resolder points B G I as I say in other post), and for a month, but, suddenly I put a game and it got black screen after ps2 logo.

Then, when I switch it on, it automatically turn off itself in 1 second. The tray doesnt open of course, it has no time.

    Any idea about the problem?

    Thankssss

try resoldering the vias, sometimes after a lot of game play the board will heat up to the point where a wire "might" come loose.

if all else fails, call Sony's tech support hotline

(damn you Sony for the production of the v9 VIAS points)

sounds like the solder joints were a bit iffy - resoldering fixed the problem. Else you may not have been contacting the metal plate correctly with the heat transfer pads and had a heat problem...
