it has worked for a half year now flawless.
but no i put in a game and it works for about 15 to 35 min, then it turn off itself and i can turn it on but blackscreen, i cant get out the tray, If i let it be for about 30 min i can turn it on and then it work again,

I also tried to start it in sleep mode (no backup works) i put in a Orignal disc and it works for about 15-30 min.

    after this problem started
i patched the chip with dms upg 1.6c
    but still the same result.

    What can be wrong.

    Overheating is the possible cause.

A lot of PS2 having the same problem in my area in the last days,
    especially the one with Magic2/3.

Try to keep it in a ventilated or cool place.

Well i checked the fan and it was working correct even right before it went dead.

We have very warm weather right now but the other machine with a magic 3 installed is working correct.

    Any other sugestions?

    anything would help.

Place a fan directly on front of the PS2 and start a game.
test it for 30 minutes, if it does not stop is a overheating problem.

If the PS2 overheats it will shut down and the led will blink RED until the unit reaches the operational temperature range.
If your problem does not envolve the red led blinking, then it's not overheat.
