PS2 V7 Dead - Help Please !

Hi,

I have a V7 Ps2, I installed a messiah2, powered it up and got a blank screen.. I took it apart again and it turned out that Points U and V were shorted.. I got rid of the short and plugged it in again and still the same blank screen. I took out the chip and its still the same, I have checked all of the fuses.. Also The tray wont eject and there is no eject light either...

What could be wrong?

I was thinking it may be BA5815 blown, but would that give a blank screen too?

look the trubleshooting from charlie_ps2.
Anyway if the eject lamp is on ( light blue led ) the BA mod is OK.
With a multimeter check leg by leg in BIOS for continuing ( reading in tester infinity measure ).
If have shorts remove carefull with a desolder brain.

My mistake!! I messed up the pal/ntsc wire.. thats what caused it... strange for it to make the drawer not come out?
