Ps2 V4 GAP - Booting problem HELP .

Hello all...

Ive tried to search in the forums but I never seen any1 with this problem...

I installed one DUO 2 Se in a v4 Gap today, and here is my problem.

I insert the game ( original or backups, cd or dvd ) and the drive recognize the game but when I press the X button to launch the game the screen just blacks out for a sec and it returns to the browser with no error message.

My soldering job looks ok, what you guys think the problem is ?

try booting the console with the game already in the drive.. not from the browser.

Thx, now the original game works but I havent been able to play the dvd and cd backups.

Dvd is on a Ritek G04 .

what do you get when you put the backups in?

Ok...so backups and original works now.

Only problem is that it boots only like 1 time out of 10.

Before I modded it, It was booting original games all the time and I havent even touch the DVD drive during the modification.

I bought the DUO 2 Se from impactmods.com so i'm sure its an original.

Any1 knows what could be the problem ?
