i installed Matrin infinity to ps2 v13. all seemd to be fine untill i tested it whit backup games after firmware upgrade. psx backup's didn't work at all.. so i opened it and chacked SX point.. tried the wire and it broked the capasitor or some of it so i took of whole wire and deside to test console without it and it worked picture came to screen. So i put new wire point next capasitor and tested.. No picture none so ever..
is there something i can do to fix it ?
More..
Opened it.. and deside to test it without bottom cover so that i could see the mobo and chip.. seems to work fine o_O..
Problem Solved.. Never gona use the thick dualside tape again... i removed that under the chip and now it works fine
thanks in advance.

If you're applying too much pressure to the modchip then it won't work cause you're probably bending the chip.
