PS2 V1 Venus Diagram
Hallo everyone
I'm looking for a Venus Diagram voor my old playstation
A friend of mine gave me a Venus chip (see picture below) but i've been googling and searched on this site but can't find any diagrams for my ps2 model.
My ps2 is SCPH-30004 but don't really know if it's V1,V2 or V3. (I followed this link for the versions http://www.mod-chip.com/en/ps2version.htm)
Does anyone have a diagram for this modchip for version 1,2 or 3?
thanks in advance

V4 Identification.
The model number can be SCPH-30000, SCPH-30001, 35001, SCPH-30002, 35002, SCPH-30003, 35003, SCPH-30004, 35004
If the marked screw doesn't show up in the expansion bay of your PS2 then please take a look on the bottom of the PS2 case. If there is an electrical hazard warning on the bottom of the case then it is a V4.
Copied from web page hope that helps

Venus chip looks like a Magic 5 copy but i may be wrong

No there are no marked screws in the expension bay and there are no warnings on the bottom. So it is either a v1,v2 or a v3.
the Magic chip does look like the Venus but the Magic 5 is only for V5 and above so does that mean the Venus is allso for v5 and above?

Best bet would be take out mainboard from console and get The model no from there, might be easier for you to get proper ident for the ps2

It's Brazilian chip m8(i think) i asked friend in Rio to look for me.he gave me this site
http://www.playparts.com.br/shop.php...talhes&prod=92
roughly translated it says:-
compatible with all playstation 2 NTSC models series SCPH5000 (v9-v10)
but i would double check, just incase
again sory i couldnt help more

thats a magic V clone
check the diagrams for magic V chips
-
Is the magic V also compatible for v1,v2 or v3?
-
The Venus chip does not work in a v1 v2 or v3
also you can better look for a newer generation modchip like the duo3 or h2o
or perhaps if you have some budged a matrix infinity,
