PS2 US V5 with BlueChip problems with V-Box/TV Tuner Card.
PS2 US V5 with BlueChip problems with V-Box/TV Tuner Card. –
Well first this happen during the BlueChip modding on a 30006R on my friends console. I noticed that after modding, all screens are in B&W on a V-Box, and either B&W or distorted color/screens on a TV Card.
And there will be also a slight incline on the right vertical line of the screen if you play ANY games on a flat screen TV/Monitor. But if you run DVDs, no problems. Nice straight line on the right side. BTW, you cant see this problem if you run the console on any normal TVs (that is, not flat screen)
So... just yesterday modchipper in Sungai Wang told me that they can mod my PS2 (30001R) with something similar to the BlueChip. Oh yeah... they somehow fixed D9 games so that it can boot direct using a BlueChip. So i say what the hell... been waiting for so long for a no swap modchip. So I payed them and theydid their stuffz.
The SAME problem do exsist for me along with my friend who's having a 30006R with BlueChip. Any ideas what's wrong with that stupid chip?
OK i made some screenshots to show whats the problem on my console right now. I used 3 games for now. Project Zero (PAL/DVD), Kanon (JAP/CD) and Xenosaga (JAP/D9)
Oh yeah... I confirmed that ALL PAL games I have can run in color and without any problem on my TV card/V-Box. The only NTSC game which can run with color is Virtual Fighter 4. All the others, run in distorted screen or B&W.
Project Zero (PAL) - Work great with no problem.
Kanon (JAP/NTSC) - No color when selecting NTSC, Distorted screen when select PAL.
Xenosaga (JAP/NTSC) - Same problem with Kanon, in SECAM mode no distortion but color errors exsist -_-
Any ideas how I could fix this thing?
