ps2 tray acting weird –
my is V9 ps2, i change the controller fuse today, and it works good when is @ barebone form, as soon as i assemble it back in once piece, the tray motor is acting weird, i test the motor with AA battery and it spin no problem, however, when i press eject i can see as if the motor stuggle to start and nothing is ejecting. did i blown one of tray contoller's fuse?
it sound like when u start a electric motor and it does not get enough juice..the motor is somewhere in between try to spin but can't spin???
when is turn on the eject button kee flashing.... after a while the led will just stop (no light on eject)

Is there a modchip installed ? maybe theres a wire tha is being pinched/shorted.
it was working b4, untill i decide to fix my fuse problem that occour long time ago...if is wire short, which one might be? b/c i can still play the games that is in my HDD, is just my dvd drive won't work...
also how i tell if is LA chip problem or LA fuse problem?

Usually a shorted bios wire will cause a black screen so it could be one of the cd/dvd patching wires or rst. Make sure the metal case/cage is not touching any metal contacts on the modchip.
i remove the modchip and only dvdrom and psu are connected, but same problem, the drive is still making motor sound and tray won't reject
even the tray is in and locked and rebooted it won't sping, and eject light won't turn on...what is the problem?
