Alright, my buddy sold me his slim ps2 for 80CDN (works perfectly)

its not modded or anything and seeing as how the DUO3 Chips are $15.00USD @ Foundmy I am just going to order one and put it in.

Question is. I haven't done a mod chip install on a PS2 or an XBOX in a LONG time, and im sure this unit is V12 (model # SCPH-70012 DATE CODE: 4D

Am I going to need a slim fix if I install this chip? Which one is the best in conjunction with the DUO3.

    Thanks for any help.

Yes its a V12 you will need to do a laser fix I suggest doing the comsoft v4 fix. Since you in Canada I can do the install for you if you want, check my installer thread for feedback and prices.

Lidswitch & Summone Fix would do the trick if you have a metalhoused fan.
