PS2 (pal v.4)
Messiah Chip
My PS2 doesnt seems to read some DVD-R and DVD+R brands (Nashua, Verbatim, Arita etc.) anymore, except a particular brand like That's Write and Princo.
My PS2 used to read all the different brands before whitout any problems.
But sometimes (1 to 10) when I put my PS2 upside down, the PS2 reads Nashua brand just fine.
So it came up to my mind to adjust the laser. When I was doing the adjustment, I was shocked 3 times (both arms were shocked).
D*mn, I didnt turn off the power. Stupid me, but now when I want to turn it back on, my PS2 doesnt work. (power is broken I think) The leds arent burning. Does someone knows what happend or is it possible to fix my PS2 again.
TIA

You either shorted out the powers supply or blown a fuse on the mainboard.
