ps2 not functioning –
09-08-2003,01:12 AM
Hi, I was fixing a loose wire for a SBox and when i put everything back together, there is no power. I tried other working power supply boards and ribbon cables and it still doesn't power up. I have also removed the wire to see if it would work, but it doesn't. The ps2 is a V4, i think. It has a GH-015 motherboard. How can i fix this?

The points that was previously soldered to the ps2 are the V4 motherboard points and the wire was cut and touching the metal casing, so the ps2 was still working. i cut the the wire so it won't touch the metal casing, and soldered it to the same points. but it turns out that the ps2 has a V5 motherboard. so i guess the motherboard is now fried. Anyone selling a V5 GH-015 motherboard and for how much?
