    Unhappy ps2 modchip – 10-15-2002,02:53 AM
    After install modchip (magic 2) v7 from modchip.com my ps2 wont work, everytime I sart the system it asks me to entern language and country and it's not reading my dvdrom nor the memory cards... It seems that the dvdrom does not spins... I dont know what to do... Can you help me please...

    check all your ribbons, eventually, you may have to remove the chip, get it back to a workable state, then re-install

    I did that I diconected all the soldering a from the chip only and then tried to boot the ps2 it did not work... Is there a specific place to tape the chip? Can I use tapes to secure the soldering?
