PS2 matrix infinity weirdness

i just got my premodded satin silver ps2 with a matrix infinity modchip, some games work fine (traxdata dvd+r) and some games dont, while they work with my old console with swap magic, anyone have the same problem? where u get the red screen, its really weird cause most games work

Definitely your media. You have to buy quality media like Ritek DVD-R and burn them at slow speeds. If your PS2 is booting games then it is working. Just that your laser is having a hard time reading the disc. Could be because you burnt the dvds too fast or they're just poor quality dvd. Get some Ritek from shop4tech.com.
