Having a problem with a laser here,

The laser worked fine for a half year but now it isn't working correctly and making lots of ticking sounds, the laser isn't completely doing anything, it is just making strange sounds but it still loads games but having problem with reading and making this thicking sounds, it appeared to be the problem of a copy of Def Jam Vendetta, while playing it it just maked this strange sounds at one moment and the game freezed. The guy who played on it didn't turn it directly off when these sounds came up. When we turned the console on again, the sounds keeped coming up, and after a few times pressing reset the sound stopped, 3 days later (now) the sound cames up again!
The Console is modded with Mini Apple Pro Chip.

Help will be appreciated
