PS2 Just stopped working

I just recently rebooted my ps2 a couple of times because I kept on getting errors while updating a game online. Now, for some reason, the red light on my PS2 isn't on anymore and I can't boot the ps2. I have v12 slim, with CC 1.1 with hacked firmware 24. Please help. :((((

either the power supply has died, or you'll have to open it up and check all the fuses. its possible a wire has come loose and maybe shorted something out.
