i've just put in a new fuse for the ps14 on a GH-022 motherboard with a magic 3 chip. When i turn on, the ps2 doesn't play any sound on the browser screen but plays it when the ps2 logo pops up. The game won't go any further than the ps2 logo. The controller and most likely the controller port won't work, but when i press the analog button, there's red light which tells me there's power to it. What could be the problem? Which fuse/s?

Have you ever thought that when you replaced the fuse that you accidently dislodged the flexible ribbon connector going from your controller/memory port to the motherboard???

that never happened. i swore i didn't break any thing else. If i did somehow dislodged it, why would there be power to the controller. it has to be something else. The ribbon cable isn't snagged or anything btw.

hey does the BA chip have a function of controlling the controller port, sound, the browser screen, and the loading of the games? Games won't load eventhough it recognized it. It goes to the ps2 logo and gives me a black screen. I don't get a black screen when i turn it on though. I know it's not the bios chip.

No, the BA chip has nothing to do with your controller or the sound or the browser screen, and shouldn't effect the game loading either.
I've come across a few PS2's with sound problems due to faults with the bios chip, i.e. shorts between pins and damaged tracks associated with the bios.

But i didn't touch the bios chip when putting in the messiah 2. Everything was working before with my magic 3, besides the ps2 not booting backups. Any other components that can cause that malfunction? Fuse/s?

You may have to suspect your mod chip, as this could be the culprit. I've come across quite a few Magic 3.1 chips that have caused unexplained damage to the motherboard. In fact I have one waiting attention that flatly refuses to boot anything DVD or DVD-R, but will play CD and CD-R stuff with no problems. I've even tried replacing the ROM drive with still the same results. I've yet to remove the Magic chip to see if the problem persists. I'll post my findings ASAP.

it's not that chip. that's the first chip i put in. then i remove it to put in the messiah. then it was broken so i replace the ps14 fuse and now it's like this after i put back the magic 3

I know this may be painfull for you, but your best off removing the Magic chip to see if the problems still persists. If so, then you have one or more component failures on the motherboard which will be extremely hard to find. If it was only possible to obtain a schematic diagram of the PS2, then repairs would be so much easier.
I doubt very much also that there's another fuse involved, you need to look elsewhere.
Unfortunately I have no other suggestions I could offer, sorry about that my friend, but without having a look at it personally, its extremely hard to diagnose a fault via a Forum or e-mail.
