i have a Magic2 installed. Played some PS2 last night and woke up this morning to play some again. When i power it on i get no screen or sound. I just get a screen flicker and thats it when i power it on. It doesnt sound like there is any disc activity. I took it apart to see if any wires came loose but dont see nothing. ANy ideas? could it be the reset/eject cable?

ok heres an update, i hope someone can ID the problem. It will boot original games. But if i try a dvd-r game i have to press the reset button for about a second then i will get the PS2 logo screen but it still wont boot the game. If i press the reset button longer i get no PS2 logo screen. Just a blue video input screen. I do hear the laser clciking alot so do i need to adjust it? any ideas?

mine will go to the browser or 'insert a playstation disc' screen' after the PS2 logo screen.

don't use magic chip.. I have a magic 3 installed because some guy tricked me into getting it. It has alot of freezing issues.. always freeze around a few minutes.. sometimes would be very lucky if it didn't freeze in an hour.
