ps2 help –
I was moddinga ps2 and i was installing a chip and decided i could not do it. So i disconnected eveything i sodered and put it back together..I did not power anything up with the chip in it.Now when i turn it on the sound is fuzzy and it won't read the disk.I don't understand how it could be screwed up because everthing is back to the way it was before i started.Has enyone had this problem?Any help would be appreciated.IThe chip was a modchip. Thanks Badboy
No this does not happen to everyone. Check all the fuses and check the pins on the bios chip for bridging.
You wrote that you soldered something. So let's say you tampered the machine. Seems you tampered something wrong, and it causes the problem. Check the board, cables, soldering points....everything. I suppose none will be able to give you the exact reason what was wrong, especially without looking into that machine...
