PS2 hdd –
I have a few questions. 1, I want to put a hard drive in my ps2 can i put a pc hdd in it with the network adapter. 2, What is a good dash bord. And that about it
I see you're an Xbox person. The hdd must not have anything on it and you must use winhiip to format it to ps2 format.
also xbox's use dashboards. no such thing on a ps2

There is hard drive stuff, there is nothing nearly as streamlined as xbox dashboards where they load up when you turn on your ps2 and you have everything available to you from one place.
The playstation 2 is behind the xbox in that department.
Aside from that, if you're putting a hard drive in your PS2, there isn't really anything to mess up, you can always fix a failed format like a PC hard drive. The PS2 uses a standard IDE hard drive that you can get anywhere.
Be sure to check that you have the proper software to run stuff from the hard drive.
If you wanna add games/homebrew from to the hard drive, I suggest you use HDL Dumb with your PS2 hard drive hooked up to your PC, it's plain easier that way.
