Internal...only External for JAP SCPH-1x000 Models, since they have no expansion bays!

But then again $ony has to make a conscious decision to actually put out the HDD. So far the only way you can get a HDD is with the Linux kit (But that HDD is formatted only for Linux...) What is $onys friggin deal man? The PS3 is going to be out by the time they have a HDD released for the PS2... *Sigh* And of course it will be released in PAL territory way before us NTSC folks... (At least thats how it works in the modchip world)

I case you guys do not know Sony already release the HDD for the Japanese console already. It been out fo a atleast 2 month already.

yes sony has already released the hdd for the japanese but i live in australia and we get everything last (or is just me ?)just look at online gameing for the dreamcast when it went on line cool, 6 months gone i would love to play FFXI but need hdd and to be one line ,.

i would do it if could call over seas ( cable is not realy here , it is but you have to live in one of the main citys there`s talk of dail up for PS2 one line)

but a hdd would be cool for a mp3 or divx player

yeah but to get it you'd have to have a Japan mailing address or a friend who lives in Japan to act as a proxy so you can get the HDD.
