    I have a V4 gap unit. Boots up PS2 games and dvd moveis just find. Not modded yet. I get disc read error for all PS1 games. I cleaned the lense, now what should I try next?

    You might try adjusting the lens.

    Adjusting the lense did not help so I went to the pots. Adjusted the CD pot, went from 950 ohms to 750 ohms put back to gether. Tested PS2 with every PS1 game I could find and 100% boot up rate and very fast. Now it's time to mod this V4 PS2.
