Ps2 electron swirl doesnt work

Since i have recalibrate my ps2,
the electron swirl won't work nemore,
and the date not working too, even after i set it to the current date...after i shut down my ps2, and on it back..the date set to default....

the electron swirl will swirl normally after i set the date but after i shut down..it set back to default..and problem occur...
its like the same problem when the pc has no electricity to store the date in the bios when the pc is in the shut down state.

do u think its the battery problem or nething else?

Is your PS2 a version 4??? If so, then you must have forgotten to plug the backup battery back in. If its other than a version 4, then there's a good chance that your battery is cactus and needs to be replaced.

Yes, a v4 scph 30000 J .....

Since you have a version 4, then your going to have to bust your PS2 open and connect the backup battery back into the two pin socket on the mobo.

NO yea just need to set the time, happens to me all the time when i open up the PS2
