ps2 Eject/Power Ribbon Cable

hello guys .

Is there a way to fix the ps2 Eject/Power Ribbon Cable ??

The part of the cable that has broken is the blue/white part that goes inside the Eject/Power Switch .

It seems that the middle silver filament got a little bit cut on the bent .

Is there a way to cut the last part of the cable and create the same silver connections ( filaments ) .

Is there a way to turn on the ps2 without using the cable ( using a wire cable create by me ) ?

Do u know some store that sell this part as for example Radio Shack ???
