ps2 dvd-rs work but not cd-r

yeah, v7 lasers are tweaked to not like recordable media, since they have less reflectivity than pressed games.

Do the CD-R (PS2) games run anywhere else? i.e. you know they work.

i just put it back together and explained to my friend that v7s have a piece of crap laser...

he said, thats okay, i'll just buy all dvd-r from you

my backups are fine...

its my trusty REZ that i played 10235234 hours on

and i burned a new one, tested it in mine, and it didnt work in the v7

anyways...

he just took it back with no caring that i tdoesnt play PS2 CD-R
