About LinkBacksI've just opened my ps2 to mod it, but i can't seem to remove the heat sink part to get access to the cd controller pads
it seems that it is very well attached to the back of the ps2 i don't wish to ruin anything my forcing it to hard
any input would be appreciated

Which PS2 model? The FAQ/Guides section of this forum contains Disassembly instructions for v5/v6/v7.

it is a V7 model GH-019
the guids just say the motherboard is now free but mine doesn't seem to want to come apart from the heat sink
