PS2 chipped worked for about 6hours then stopped and plays nothing

i had this ps2 chipped for a mate

think its a V6

sent it away got it back wasnt working found it was a faulty chip

sent it away got it redun has chip they use for V9 ps2 in it

it had been tested there for 6hours straight

got it sent back went to test a game it doesnt work says no disk

sometimes say PS2 in background then nothing

doesnt even boot up normal games???

wont do a thing is really weird

hope someone can help,was playing games fine before i sent it away, maybe damaged in post? not to sure

hope someone can give me some advice as its was a mates ps2 and is sat here not even playing normal games now

I think you can join the my V9 just got killed club.....there are several postings about this problem

it has a messiah 2 chip installed

its a V5 6 or poss 7 im not to sure

has the chip in the use on the version 9's

If it got bumped around in shipping, maybe the laser got damaged? Worth checking into anyway. If you have another v5-7 take the laser out of it and see if that solves your problem.
