Is there a way to patch an image of a game to imbue it with cheats ? I mean could we use ppf o matic or other software to patch cheats into the game ?

I Know this Can be done because I have done it with DOA: Beach Volleyball (for Xbox)

I ran a patch through ppf o'matic that gave me Everyone NAKED (Completly), Max Money, and everything costs only a dollar.

But I don't know how to make the patch. I just know it can be done.
BTW I think a patch through ppf O'matic is different then a cheat code.
