I have a CloneCD image of a PS1 game. I just wanted to know what speed I should burn PS1 games with. I am guessing I would just burn at 2x like I do PS2 games. Also, when I burn it using CloneCD, I select "Game CD" right? Thanks.

Dude, just burn CD based games at the highest speed - it'll save you time and it works just like slower speed.
And all PS1 games are CD based, so just burn at whatever speed you want, probably higher.

I don't suggest you to burn that too fast. Especially if the PSX is old and has a weak laser. I suggest to burn it at 8x or 16x max. There have been several reports/studies about how C1/C2 errors change (mostly the number just gets bigger) as you write the disks at higher speeds. *not to mention todays disk quality is far from perfect, so I avoid from writing them at 52x for example, he he*

The setting can be almost anything when dealing with PSX disks and the image was created from a backup. (as the patches needed has already been applied to the game, so you don't have to worry about copy protections) If the image is from an original then I used to select "protected" and everything has worked up til now.

    regards, Stephen
