I have some problems with V12 machines, i get more than 10% in return, all with almost the same problem. Machine worked great for x nr of hours then it started running slow, after a while it wont boot at all giving Blackscreen and disc doesnt spinn. Ive done about 250 machines and got about 25-30 back with this problem. I use summe0ne resistor fix. Replacing chip with new and replacing the laser will fix the machine, but i dont understand why i get these problems. No one else seems to have these problems. I use Ripper 3.1, ***4 lite/pro Crystalchip and O2. Ive been installing ps2 for 2years and done several thousand machines with no problems b4 v12.
Also customers sometimes complain about problems with the PSTwo getting overheated and having to shutt it off for about an hour b4 it starts again.
Ive tried some PIC fixes as well, but got problems with these as well.
Anyone have any idea about what the problem is?
I place chip over caution text close to HK port and i use good wireing.
I wonder if the problem can be old PSTwo since most machines ive chipped have 303 resistors
