Problems with Infinity in a v2 ps2

Here is a c/p of my conversation so far. The ps2 was modded, shipped through USPS and then played with no problems whatsoever for 2 weeks. Now all of a sudden it won't eject. Any ideas? I'm stumped! The guy has no idea on how to open it up and check anything, and I really doubt if he's too excited about spending $20-$30 to ship it to me to check out.

my ps 2 wont open i took a disc out went to go into browser to delete some of my old stuff off memory card it wouldnt let me in then when i try and open the cd it wont if you keep trying it will shut the system off?

I've heard of a memory card becoming corrupted

give that a try, and try unhooking everything and hooking it back up

i just did that when i turn it on and hit the eject button it sounds like it trys to open but doesnt

I dont know what it could be. If the mod doesn't work, it should have a black screen, not the problems you're describing

and when i unhooked everything and tried it screen stays black

do yuo have a controller plugged into slot 1

the infinity looks for a controller for 10 seconds

and while it is looking the screen is black

ok when i unplugged everything and hooked it all back up i turn on the power and the red light is on i hit the reset button and the blue light just keeps flashing then stops the screen stays black the whole time

i tried it again and the blue light flashes once and thats it the screen just stays black

I wouldn't think anything would've come unhooked from the chip. I mean it was ok through the mail, and you played it for a couple weeks just fine

could it have gotton dropped/jarred while you werent playing it?

yeah i know no i dont think so i played this afternoon then shut it off went out came home went to play it thats when it started
