Problems with CC in V12
Problems with CC in V12 –
12-11-2004,10:43 AM
Hi
I have 3 CC that I have tryed in 2 V12's.
They all act like this.
Boot org. PS1 games
Don't boot org. PS2 (Browser PS2 disc)
Don't boot CC firmware disc CC.005 and CC.007 (RSOD)
Don't boot Bman from memcard.
The CC firmware disc work in other V12's with CC.
CC installed like I normaly do, and this has allways worked.
V12's work like normaly, when I remove the CC's again.
Is there a new rev. of the CC that need to boot the CC firmware disc in another way ??
Regards

Ofcourse, I have read them all.
That has nothing to do with my problem.
I've modded a lot of V12's with CC, without any problems. Suddenly I have 2 V12's and 3 CC's that dosen't play as supposed to. And it is NOT the 12 problem.

you must have an install problem. You should never see an RSOD with the crystal even with no firmware installed. With no firmware and even with a backup game you should be bounced back to the browser.

CC forums have a few reports of DOA chips. you could have got a bad batch of them.

huh? where? I visit the crystal forums every day and I'm very active there. I don't see anything there besides some new guys that have blown fuses because they are applying too much pressure to them.

This is all new news to us. We most certainly do not claim to be perfect. If your distributor does honor his request then we will also honor his request for an exchange. You can stand at ease that if this is the case, the situation will be well taken care of.

It is not bad chips, but chips that don't work in V12.
The chips is sent back to him, and I gues, that he will ship them you you.
