Problems with CC and "Soulblade"

Hi I'm new here.

I've got a little problem with my PS2 modded with Crystal chip. Yesterday I've burned the PS1 game "Soulblade" (PAL).
The game boots but the the screen remains black. Now you could say it has something to do with the media or the image, but heres the funny part:

Other PS1 games work, same media, same burning speed (8x), same region.
Tried burning it on slowest speed (4x), but still doesn't work.
The NTSC version "Soul Edge" works (but unfortunately its a rip without sound and movies)
And here the best thing: All discs I burned work perfectly on the PS2 of a friend of mine. And she also got the crystal chip.

Whats wrong with my PS2?

Are you using BM software to run the psone game?
Do you have any of the ps1 enhancement features on when using BM?
Have you tested the psone game without using BM?

Yes I'm using BM.
I've tested with several feature variations and also without BM.
