Problem with a V7 Non-Gap,and messiah2
Problem with a V7 Non-Gap,and messiah2 –
01-12-2003,06:04 AM
Hello.
I've installed 15 messiah 2 on V5,V4 and V7 consoles,without problems.But today,I've installed it on a V7 Non-Gap bios.This console,with the chip installed,doesn't work (black screen after to turn the power on) and cd tray doesn't open.(blue led off,too)
I've tested all bios and CD/DVD controller points, with no results.
If I uninstall the chip, the console works perfectly.I have installed this chip on another V7 (gap bios) and it works OK.I've reinstalled on Non-gap,and another time the same problem.
I think the problem is with the console (ref.39004,Non-gap bios,PAL).
Do you know if exists a new version (7.1 or 8) that doens't accept the messiah2?
Please,help me,if you can!
Thank you very much !!!!!!

This looks like a 7.1 if I can put it that way - jusdging by the BIOS info. I'll see what the man says.
