I had problems copying this game. Using the normal CloneCd methods which work so well, I would get a black screen while the laser grinded away then eventually either the browser screen showing the PS2 disk on it or just a RSOD. I tried with Alcohol and had the same problem. This was using my TDK VeloCD 52x CD-r. I then took a chance and tried Recordnow Max 4.5 and used my Cendyne 105 to burn the CD-r. It worked fine!! Just create a GI and read at minimum then burn image at minimum. The original game CD was not in the best of shape, I just figured that it was most likely the reason I wasn't getting a good burn but after reading this maybe there is something about that original that causes problems.

I had the same problem with this game. I tested this copy on a magic 3.1 version 7 system, and an apple modded version 7 system, and no go!!!
Then I upgraded to a Messiah 2 and it works flawlessly now. Same cdr no reburning with different methods. It has to be a chip code issue but who knows, it could be possible to burn with a different method to get it to run, or try a patch.

Arrrrrrrrr, me wee ones have played the copy I made them all the way through. I gets no errors on yon game at all. Created it with CloneCD too. I'm a runnin' a Magic3 on a V7, used an old external HP CDrw burner, and an Imation disc. Read and wrote at 4x. Me orginal disc was a brand new one though...not a scratch on 'er.

Hi
I have a similar problem on ver 7 console with hk messiah 2 and PAL original version of that game. It won't even get past start new game unless I disable chip.
Did you ever find the cause or a solution for this problem.
Thanks for any information
Justin
