Problem with SCPH-39001
Well, some really cheaply ass wanted (from me) to install a "new" Mars chips on your 6 (six) months old v7 NTSC U/C (GH-017).
I did it, but do not work at all, perhaps laser weak or something, on some tests stages, I found out the ribbon cable used for Power on/off, eject buttons has a little overheated on via.
I changed the bad flat cable with a new one, but now I could not get any led (light on) anymore, even the red stand-by led. I even replace whole power/eject buttons, cable, and power supply, with new ones, but no go. PS2 refuse to power on again.
I checked all main fuses with multimeter, but all was fine, including logic when I press power or eject buttons, so I ask...
Which component has been blow up? Capacitor? Transistor?
Someone else got this problem before?
And yes, I reverted the ps2 to original stage (no mod at all).
BTW, ur 2x4all firmware is a bitch to use.. it woulr work on 1 DVD for me, then wouldnt burn at 2x again!!!!!! ao4 tried with ALL 2x4all firmwares...
maybe its my media?
If you don't like, or do not know how to use, simplitly do not use!!
Simple like that!
Do not complain with free stuff!
And this nothing say about the problem on this topic.
Was just ps1 fuse.
Anyway, where can I found these micro-fuses for PS2 ?!
gradius, your firmware RoX!! I can burn cheap ass Princos @ 2x with my DVR-105. XboX and Ps2 work great!
