Hello all. I've recently gotten my PS2 modded with Messiah 2 and I am pretty impressed by the results(all my games work well, including one that didn't boot at all before) except for PS1 games.

I don't know why, but on both of my TVs, the image of the PS1 games turn out fuzzy and the color seems all wrong(e.g in Squaresoft games, there is a red triangle in the Square logo but on my TV it seems to be orange... Also, the PS1 logo looks like it is rather washed out.

My TV color system is set to "Auto", and my PS2 is a SCPH300001 model with the V2 mobo.

Is there any solution for this color problem? Will buying an RGB cable help? Thanks!

I am absolutely baffled. I went back to the installer and the image was perfect on his TV.. I sent it back so they can look it over...

Hopefully they can find out what's causing the irregularities in image quality..

BTW, one of my friends told me that my TV "must have an auto-color mode".. I don't understand what he means by that.. Any ideas?

Is the colour fix easy to do? I can't seem to find any instructions for the V2 mobo..
