Hi. Yesterday i modified My slim SCPH-79001 (i think v16) with Modbo 4.0. its a brand new one. i brought both PS2 and Modbo on last week. i have never modd a PS2 before and this is my first time.
so my problem is when i insert a burned DVD Game it says "the disk could not be read" if i insert a burned DVD movie its says same thing. but before modding it played burned dvd movies, and the error massage was deferent when i insert a burned Game dvd (insert ps2 compatible dis or something), but when i insert the Online startup disk (at the moment i dont have any original game) online network connection wizard is loading.

i have soldered all wires except F and CX (diagram its says optional) and BGHI points are very hard to solder. so then i used some thin Coil Wire to solder that points.

please can any one help me to understand what ive done wrong of fix this problem
    Thankx

check your bios points. if you can't access the config menu there's a problem with one or more of the wires for it.

Bios points are in "A" area on your diagram ( top left corner ), but on modbo 4 you must connect CX point. It is a clock point, some modchips use clock from the motherboard like Mars, modbo 4.....so if there is no crystal on your modchip you must use CX point. Hope this will help.

    best regards,

H point is mandatory, it is right from G point. In fact all points are mandatory for modbo 4.

    best regards,
