Problem with Matrix Infinity Please Help –

Hi
I chiped my ps2 v10 just last week.
Now my problem.
I can't play ps2 backups. I always get the ugly red screen.
These backups are running. I tested them on a chiped station.
Psx backups are running by pressing circle button. Dvd movies are running too.
I updated to firmware v 1.38.
Ps2 original games are working and right under the ps2 logo infinty v1.38 is written.
I think i got a homebrew version.
Could this be the problem? Which firmware should i use?
Please help me

No use only 1.38
The <1.38 dont plays some games .
1.36--->1.38 (Few games (Baldur's Gate, Athens 2004, Spyro) were reported not working.
This has now been fixed)
Anyway use the newer fw for sure

For homebrew Infinitys
Burn the latest firmware to disc and insert into ps2. Put into stanby and then hold reset for 3 secs. Upgrade cd will boot - flash with new firmware and everything should boot.

My opinion is :
You have wrong install one of : A,B,G,I,Y
If you can run PSX(copy) and in original PS2 displayed the INFINITY logo the :
The bios is OK
The +Vcc , gnd is OK.
The scex is OK.
Check again the others wires .( remove and install new .

I gave my ps2 to a friend who knows more than me about chiping a ps2 and stuff.
Maybe he can fix it.
Thanx
